Tooling & Specialist Machining

With continuing heavy investment in the latest machinery and CAD/CAM packages ATS-UK Ltd is in the unique position that it can offer a whole variety of Tooling & Specialist Machining techniques thus enabling us to offer impartial advice to best suit our customers needs and budgets.

At the lower volume or specialist end of the spectrum we can offer S-RIM, Vac Forming & PU Foam tooling and for Injection Moulded parts we can offer tooling from Aluminium prototypes, inserts in modular die-sets.

For higher volumes we design & manufacture top quality multi-cavity fast cycling tooling, 2 shot tooling and the larger more complex Automotive style tools, we can manufacture UK built tools up to 9000kgs and professionally off-shore sourced tooling to 12000kgs.

The huge size range and diversity of machinery housed within the ATS Group also allows us to offer a complete Specialist Machining service second to none in terms of versatility & quality, an extensive portfolio of some 40+ machines including High Speed and 5-Axis machining centres along with our comprehensive EDM Sink & Wire facilities means we can offer parts as varied as complete machined vehicle bucks manufactured from modelboard down to micro EDM machined parts in specialist grades of Aerospace quality Titanium’s and everything in between, our investment in the latest High Speed machinery and CAD/CAM software allows us to run a “Lights-Out” facility thus offering improved leadtimes and competitive costs.
