Engineering Design Services

Utilising the latest CAD packages including Catia, Unigraphics and Solid Works our Design team offer a fully dedicated design service to industries as diverse as Automotive, Medical, Aerospace, Motorsports, Packaging & Building Products amongst a great many others, this service is not limited to mechanical design alone and also includes electronic systems design and full CE Approvals.

The ATS Design department currently houses 8 Design Engineers using 4 seats of Catia v5, 2 seats of Unigraphics NX7.5 and 1 seat of Solid Works 2014. Our Engineers come from various backgrounds which enables us to offer design services to a number of different market sectors, we can take existing "A" surface models and carry out full engineering design to a complete working product or can work from customers initial concepts be they sketches or even just ideas, regular meetings and on-line communications allows customers to modify designs "In Process" so as to reduce overall leadtimes to a finished product,

Our key strength in the provision of this service lies in the fact that we are a manufacturing company and therefore take into account "Manufacturability" as a natural part of the process, we will not supply designs that cannot be converted into products in the most cost effective manner, with our wealth of experience we can also offer advise on the best manufacturing techniques taking into account product requirements and volumes along with in-depth advice on material selection.
