Resin Injection Tooling

Using supplied data or data created by ATS UK, we produce a model with all relevant draft and contraction added. The split lines are created, any loose blocks are manufactured and the resin inserts are cast. Bolster sets can be loaned for the duration of the moulding contract, keeping costs to a minimum.

Prototype Vacuum Forming

Prototype tools can be manufactured from either simple model board or harder resin boards, depending on the quantities, types of material and quality of parts required. Tools can be produced in a matter of days, providing the customer with hand-trimmed parts to test their designs.

Production Vacuum Forming

Production tools can be produced from aluminium castings or machined straight from billet, depending on the cost, speed and the A surface quantity required. Smaller tools can be machined from sintered aluminium, giving excellent A surface definition with NO unsightly vac holes. Checking fixtures and routing fixtures can add the full package, enabling the customer to 5 axis CNC machine trim the parts and inspect direct back to the CAD.

Metal Pressing

Prototype tools manufactured from P20 or aluminium to supply low volume parts. Flanging tools and hammer form aides can also be supplied.

S-RIM

S-Rim tooling will be designed to the customer’s requirements, either to fit in large production manipulators or low volume presses. Tools can be manufactured either in aluminium or P20 steel, depending on volumes.

Wax Dies

Production wax dies to produce patterns for the investment casting industries.

CNC Master Patterns for Autoclave

Master patterns for autoclave tooling, mainly for the motor sport and aerospace industries. These can be produced in a wide range of materials and can also be fully finished with paint and polished.
